I had the same question about gvwr when ordering, the Ford new car inventory manager told me 12400 was what you get unless you pick a downgrade package.
On another note those talking about the camper package, I don't believe you can order that with 20" wheels 18" only

2. And the spec sheet for the first 3 entries (JHinman, 4x4ord, & NickinCO) all say the spec sheet GVWR is 3940. But, again referring to the Ford brochure, it is 3940 for a SB and 4440 for a LB. And only JHinman has a LB.

3. Finally.... I'm surprised that JHinman, who has the LB, doesn't have a higher sticker GVRW of about 500 lbs more than 4x4ord and NickinCO (who have a SB).

I'm looking at going from a 2018 SB to a 2022 LB simply to get a higher GVWR. So I'm pretty interested in anyone else who can simply say what their truck is and the sticker numbers and get back to original question/request.

Thanks for the original post - I'll keep watching.
Just saw this and it appears you may have your answer. When I ordered my 20 I made darn sure I was going to get the 12,400 GVWR. It may have changed but at that time to get it you had to get a single rear wheel long bed, crew cab, 6.7 diesel, 4X4 with 18 or 20 inch wheels and all terrain tires. When the guy put in my order the print out he gave me had the 12,400 GVWR shown on the order sheet. It really wasn't complicated as the Platinum had most of that stuff anyway.

Mine came with Michelin LTX AT2 tires which are rated at 3750 pounds each at 80 psi which gives the tires more capacity than the rear axle rating which I think is 7230 or something like that.

Good to know you can review the order sheet and see the GVRW prior to actually placing the order. Thanks!

I asked the dealer what the payload would be and he looked up on the website. It was something like 4400 pounds and I said I need at least 4200 pounds and had him put it in the contract that I could refuse it if was less than 4200 pounds. It came in at 3744 and was ready to walk and he said he would drop the price and I had him install steps, mud flaps, and bed cover at no cost.

Nice move. What truck did you get that was the year? I'm guessing it isn't the RAM in your signature. Thanks.

So you really didn't need 4,200 if you went with 3,744 and then added accessories that cut the useful load even more.

Either that or just going on a diet, or run overweight.

Bought a Solitude 310GK with a unloaded weight of 2250 and when fully loaded it was over weight. I dove the truck and RV on to the nearest RV dealer and traded both for a Class A DP with 7224 payload and now I don't have to worry about it.

The second RV (Airstream Classic)has GVWR of 8200 pounds and loaded ready to camp it weighs in with 980 pound tongue weight so with the truck below has plenty of payload left over
