Here’s a photo - Ford is saying it will be “the most powerful F150 ever” which, given what they did with the Mustang EV project, might be true.

So much better than that thing Tesla is calling a truck.
I don't really care for the light that outlines the hood though.

I don’t either but that stuff is becoming common on lots of stuff including the front of TTs and 5th wheel trailers. Just a fad IMHO. There a lot more coming out now on the F150 EV.

One of the things some are discussing is that the truck manufacturers not putting any effort into aerodynamics will see a huge hit in range compared to the Tesla Cybertruck. If this is true it should show up in the specs if released tonight. The tri-motor Cybertruck is expected to have a 500 mile range. Ford or GM haven’t leaked any range numbers yet.

Areodynamics - I have a duck tail on my tailgate and a bigger front chin spoiler on my truck. That is areodynamics for a square block of metal...I mean truck.

Can't wait to see what happens on Long Island when 25% of the vehicles are electric. They have a very hard time keeping power on when it hits 90. Add all the cars being charged and they will be just like Cantifornia with rolling blackouts every day. The good part of it is that when electrics are common you will not smell exhaust while stuck in traffic and you will be able to smell the garbage on the side of the road instead. So happy to not be there anymore!

That’s kind of what I’m getting at. Some of the non Tesla manufacturers that just adapted an ICE car or SUV to an EV drivetrain are seeing as much as a third less range because of the poor aerodynamics. Will truck manufacturers make an effort to improve their aerodynamics? So far it looks like the answer is no.
