Pull rite super glide towing issue

This is the first time pulling with a super glide. I'm having an issue when towing. If I hit the brakes or accelerate my trailer slams forward and back. Feels like I'm getting rear ended by another truck how do you stop it from moving so aggressively

You need to tighten the adjuster on the front (truck front) side of the hitch. Here is a and manual for how to do that.

Welcome to the forum. Two things: Your hitch isn't installed properly with a correct capture plate install. Your hitch isn't working properly.

The hitch should only move back and forth when the hitch head is rotated as though the trailer is turning. Verify this without the trailer attached. If it does, the hitch is not functioning correctly.

Do not tow without the capture plate on the pin box installed (dangerous).
