Pulling a travel trailer with a Mustang

I am thinking about buying a Ford Mustang with a 450 HP V8 engine and a travel trailer. How long of a trailer would it be safe enough to tow?

I pull a 45' toy hauler with my Ford Ranger, so I would guess just about anything that size or smaller.

Where can you get trailer mirrors for the Mustang?

Good luck bolting a 5000 lb hitch to a car with no frame.

You will need a transmission cooler, towing creates LOTS of heat in the transmission.

The other thing that happens is you will have instability (potentially lots of sway) which can happen when the trailer outweighs the tow vehicle.

Back in March he asked about pulling a 30' travel trailer with a Porsche or Corvette. I guess he decided not to go with either of those. Maybe a Mustang will work ?

RV Vagabond-

The 2022 Ford Towing Guide is here. Answers to your questions are in there.

The 2022 Ford Mustang owner's manual is here. There are answers there, too.

Ahahahaha

That's my first reaction. But if this is serious...I have no idea. It's all about suspension, gearing, power and braking.

You have power and braking, but not much else. Hard to tell, but probably under 1k pounds.
