Replace PullRite SuperGlide

I'd like to keep discussion focused on the Andersen Ultimate Connection Gooseneck Mount

https://andersenhitches.com/products...seneck-version

My 2017 3500 CC SRW Duramax Silverado has the factory puck system.

This Andersen design does not pin the base to the puck system only to the goose ball. Receiver mounting Gooseneck is 5 or so inches to the rear of floor goose mount. What keeps the base from rotating due to the angular load produced by the offset and braking outside of a straight line?

I read Andersen install pdf. Still can't see how base will not rotate. Let's start here. Thanks. Ed

I am using an Andersen Ultimate in my 2022 Chev. SB, SRW Duramax to pull a 38' 16,000 Nitro XLR 321 toy hauler.

Andersen makes a rubber pad to put under the hitch that is designed to keep the hitch from rotating. I just found some rubber padding from the local feed store and used it as it was considerably cheaper than Andersen's pad.

I have pulled the trailer at least 5,000 miles and have not had an issue. You really need to insure that you are properly torqued when you install the hitch.

Good information. I asked Andersen directly and the reply was no rotation. They did not mention the mat. Thank you. Regards. Ed
