Rivian Electric half ton. A little more info on pricing, and a light show.

For the Rivian bunch.

I guess these prices are acceptable for early adopters

"Rivian has confirmed that the R1T will now start at $67,500 for the base “Explore” version, which is coming in 2022, while the Launch Edition is going to start at $75,000, and it will arrive in June 2021."

Pricey for sure. And probably 70 percent more than Tesla’s Cybertruck. Tesla’s most expensive trimotor is 69,900 and their cheapest is 39,900. Tesla’s most expensive Cybertruck is the same price as the cheapest Rivian. It will be interesting to see the comparison videos and specs when they come out.

I do like the Rivian though. The 5.5 foot box might bug me. I think the Cybertruck will be more popular with contractors and the Rivian with the outdoorsy hikey bunch.
