Anyone, anywhere, actually seen a truck stop out of diesel?

The best sources for news are never going to be "political" sites. That is the equivalent of asking cows what they think the best cut of beef is.

There is no shortage in the marketplace, it is a manufactured "crisis" to create hysteria and market manipulation. I just drove up the East Coast and had no sightings of fuel issues anywhere. All the usual truck stops were fully staffed and fully fuelled.

On the home stretch of a 3,000 mile trip Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and back.

No shortages.

Prices around $5 a gallon. As high as $6 and change in Grand Teton National Park.

Back east diesel prices are down about $1 from their pre-summer highs. I think they will settle down to about $5. I never did see any shortage.

Nope! No shortage for diesel or DEF. We left Texas on Jul 5th and almost to our destination, 1300+ miles away and have had no problems at truck stops or auto stores for DEF. I prefer filling by hand rather than pump because of the location of the DEF tank.

This morning getting gas at a WaWa I saw a few pumps taped up. Not sure why. I did not stop at the other local gas stations since I finnaly got a pump at the WaWa.

Regular 87 octane gasoline was $3.99 and Diesel was $5.09 a gallon at this WaWa station. Dated July 29, 2022.

Just drove NM, OK, AR, MS, GA, AL and FL this week.

NO shortages.

Shortages looks like MIS-information-- must have read it on the internet.
