I have a 2017 F350 DRW towing a 13300 LB fifth with 2730 lbs of pin weight. I run 75 PSI front and 65 PSI rear. I have 5000 lbs on the front and 6640 LBs on the rear with my fifth wheel loaded to go camping. I have adjusted the air pressure on the rear from 55 psi to 80 PSI. 55 PSI the trailer seemed to move around and 70 PSI and up it started chucking. The fronts bounced bad at 80 PSI and seemed to have slow response lower then 75 PSI. I tried different PSI by the load chart and truck feel. The truck is rock solid at F 75 R 65 and camper at 80 PSI. No chucking. Try different tire PSI and see how it drives.

This is again one of those YMMV threads like the weight question threads.

The old 3/4 ton SRW truck I was running a set of Cooper Discoverer ATP LTs in 265/70/17. Door stickers were 60psi front, 75psi rear. When loaded or towing, I ran the rears at 70psi and fronts at 55psi. Unloaded I dropped it down to 60psi in the rear.

New 1 ton DRW truck has the stock Michelins on it. Door sticker shows 80psi front and 75psi rear. For giggles, I ran 80 front/75rear. Drove 3 miles to my buddies house but was probably only in contact with the asphalt 2.5 miles (this was empty, heading to pick up my trailer). Talk about bouncing betty! Threw the trailer on it and it still handled like a rock down the road.

I now run between 50-55psi in the rears and 60 up front. It's a bit rough unloaded but that's what I'd expect driving a 1 ton DRW unloaded. Loaded with the full camper on the back it is smooth as butter.

Best suggestion - know what the manufacturer recommends (both vehicle & tire) for minimum/maximum ratings and adjust accordingly.
