TireMinder Static

A fellow RVer recently installed a TireMinder TPMS system on his 5er. He pulls it with a 2021 F250 Lariat. The sensors cause static in his radio no matter whether the monitor is on or off or if the amplifier is powered or not. It even causes static when vehicles pass nearby. TireMinder says they have never had a problem like this before. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Are you sure it’s the TPMS’s causing the static? How did you confirm it was the sensors?

TireMinder TPMS, per their website, operate at 433 MHz - no where near the AM or FM band. And it’s doubtful they are producing a lot of harmonic noise - but if they were, it would likely only be one, not all of the users TPMS’s.
And I would think if they were going to to generate noise, they would so so whether connected to a tire or not - unless they only create the noise while the tires are turning (but I highly doubt that as well).

Do some more investigation.
