I only use the WDH bars on longer trips to keep the bounce down. Without the bars, the truck looks the same with the setup I have now. I could pivot the head more and get some more load into the bars but it rides wonderful right now.
Looks good to me. If it rides fine and you have no sway issues just leave it.

Changing one thing to fix a different issue does not make sense to me. I had a similar problem and found an old jack stand with a round post. The light weight sheet metal ones, not the newer cast style. Anyway, the trailer jack fit perfectly in the base of the jack stand. Took off the foot, drilled a hole and now I have a wider base for the trailer jack and it doesn't have to extend as much, making it more stable.
