Clearance is rarely mentioned on anyone's website. I've been emailing CS to get the answer.

I spoke with CS at RealTruck, and they said that the Pace Edwards Ultragroove will clear my hitch, guaranteed.
I like this one because it's retractable, with a bonus of being able to install Yakima rack on it. https://www.realtruck.com/pace-edwar...tonneau-cover/

The hitch sits about 1" below the bed rails. I prefer the retractable, but will also be looking at the fold-up covers. Does anyone know of a cover that might work?
Soft covers are a definite no.

The Bakflip is a folding cover. Unless I fold it up against the window, there is not enough clearance for the hitch when towing.

My hitch has almost exactly 2” clearance below bedrails, my Retrax cover clears with room to spare.

My hitch is only 1" below the top of the bedrail. Most hitches require more than that

OK I just went and checked with the measuring tape. My Retrax cover is approximately 7/8” below the top of the bed rail, except within 8 inches of the bed rail where the locking mechanism is located on the side. Also, even the part that is 7/8” under the bed is on the leading edge of the cover and has quite a bit of flex. I could technically flex this cover over a hitch that was almost flush with the top of the bed rail by lifting the leading edge. Also I could mount this cover even higher quite easily by placing rubber strips under the portion that mounts to the top of the bed rail.

That is well and good, but I would prefer to not have to climb in and out of the bed to do that. I'm an old guy.

I've had this one, and it's a great cover. Install is only a couple hours. I liked the access at either end of the bed.
Only downside is that you can't open it up all the way. I currently have an under bed rail toolbox, and if I went with the Fold A Cover, I won't be able to open the toolbox. So I'm researching as well. I keep coming back to the Bak family of covers. Not sure which yet.

Apologies, I must be misreading your posts. I thought your hitch was 1 inch under the bed rails, my cover would clear that. I posted the other info just as a general FYI. That the cover could also be raised higher was also in case others here were looking as well with other hitch heights.
Anyways sorry again, as far as the retractable style covers go there are none slimmer than the Retrax I have found. Mine is 3 years old and used almost daily with no issues so far. JME
Also I miss measured last night, looks closer to 5/8 of an inch. I attached some photos in case it is helpful.
