Towing 4X4 rear wheel drive vehicle

Hello everyone,

We are trying to tow a 95 4x4 iszuzu rodeo behind our Ford F-150 truck. I have heard a few different things on the subject. Do we need to disengage the driveshaft, ( if yes, do you know of any tutorials that have helped you) or can we put the car into neutral and put it on a car dolly. Any help would be appreciated we have had a hard time researching this subject.

Thank you in advance !

If you have the owners manual, it usually tells you if the car can be towed and how to do it. I don't think MotorHome Magazine's guide goes back that far. Try calling REMCO they make a driveline disconnect and can possibly tell you if it can be towed.
