Is the mattress’s cushions appliances included in the dry rating. Or is that considered the owners cargo?

Yes, included in “dry” weight, not part of cargo. Be very careful when looking at “dry” or “unloaded” vehicle weights. Mfrs brochures claim low dry weights but on the lot are many times hundreds of lbs heavier. Sometimes as much as 600-800 lbs for the largest TT! Their dry weight is for the base trailer before midyear “improvements”, before mandatory option package, and before any other options you might add. Some mfrs are more upfront and open about their weights as you “build” your TT online. Buyer BEWARE when shopping and looking at TT weights! Do not believe the brochures...as Reagan and the Russians used to say, “Trust but verify”!
