If it’s able to maintain / recharge to ~13.25v with the 12v fridge & 12V cooler running while towing (and the temperature got into the 90s on the day shown) does it really matter what the draw or charge amperage is?

Thanks
You're getting a good enough charge while towing. And without the expense of a DC-DC charger and associated wiring. Good choice!

As for "...does it really matter what the draw or charge amperage is?..." - yes if you draw more power than can be replenished over the course of your towing time. But that time is probably longer than you would normally tow between shore power charges.

the victron 12-12, 18 amp version is about all you can use with the stock wireing on a 7 pin RV cord. Some RV cords only have a 14 AWG wire for 12 vdc+, I would suggest swapping that out with a heavy duty Bergrem all weather cord ( it has larger battery wires both positive and negative). The replacement cord helps with voltage drop feeding the DC to DC charger. Most trucks have 12 awg or possibly 10 awg in some cases . running 30~35' with 12 awg will drop the voltage about 2.5~3 volts from what ever your alternator is putting out with a 23 amp draw on that 12 awg wire.
