VW Atlas Brake Controller Help

Hello,
I have a 2018 VW Atlas with tow package and was looking to connect a brake controller to pull our Palamino pop up trailer that has brakes. After searching on YouTube, this seemed pretty simple, I purchased a Tekonsha Primus IQ controller and also a Tekonsha wiring harness to connect to the adapter installed with the Atlas. Unfortunately, the connection on the wiring harness does not fit/match the connection on the atlas. Called Tekonsha and they said this has been reported by others. They checked with their competitor and couldnít find a solution for me. I live in Ontario, Canada. Does anyone know where I can find a harness to fit my vehicle? I have been searching for hours and canít find anything. I really donít want to have to cut wires if I donít have to.

Does this help you any?

Not sure if your needing a socket for the male end, or a plug for the female end. But in the video, when he pulls the assembly out, you can see what appears to be a red colored plug that looks like the male plug in your top 2 pictures.

Mmmmmm - you need to confirm if what was suggested is what you need first. If it is, then maybe a little research will help you find what you need, in Canada - assuming what you need isnít proprietary to the U.S..
