Weight Calcs Again

Had a discussion on here awhile back regarding weight calculations, truck and 5r, pin weights ect..... it was determined that I really needed to go to the scales, so up here in Minnesota I had my trailer in storage finally got it out and went to the CAT scales.
Truck steer #4280 Drive #3440 Gross #7720
Truck and trailer Steer #4300 Drive #5380 Trailer #9260 Gross # 18940

Truck sticker FGAWR #5940 RGAWR #6100
If I'm calculating right that's #1940 pin Trailer #11,220 or 17% for pin weight. Which puts me well within my numbers.
Truck GVWR #22,000 Trailer GVWR #13200

So correct me please if I'm wrong because everyone say's pin weight should be around 22% of trailer weight. Yes I have it camping ready, NOTE I do not carry water so is this the difference? because the water tank is towards the front.
Any help would be appreciated because I'm still trying to understand the numbers vs. what everyone is saying.

You added 1940# to Rear Axle AND 20# to Front Axle so Pin Weight is 1960#
Trailer weight is 9260 + 1960 =11,220#
1960# Pin is 17.4%

That is Low Wet Pin.....20%-25% is standard range

I would see how it tows W/O water
Low Pin weight can cause 'Chucking/bucking'

If you experience that....fill up the water tank
Weight of water is not going to affect the MPG......high sidewalls/height affect it alot more

IS the 5vr LEVEL when hitched up???

Dry trailer weight is 10,632# and Dry Pin is 1715#

Your 11,220# is ONLY 588# higher then DRY Trailer Weight
Your 1950# pin is ONLY 245# higher then DRY PIN
You sure don't carry much for 'camp ready'??????????????????????

Pots/Pans/Dishes/Utensils/Bedding/Clothing/Linen..Towels etc etc

Typical added weight is roughly ---your roughly 900# shy

Level will add a few pounds to Pin Weight
FULL Loaded up Camp Ready will also

Is your 5th wheel front bedroom? If so storage under the bed, closets and dresser full? How about the basement storage? Bug killer, chairs, extra electric cables, water hoses, sun shade, some tools, empty cooler, kayak paddels, water bottle, life jacket, citronella, hand held sweeper, trailer cleaners.

I have my old loaded 5th wheel CAT scale sonewhere but can't find it now. But I remember the pin weight being heavy. We were going on a 6 month trip to Florida for the winter.

My wife had the under bed storage packed with sweeper, swifer, bedding, and a bunch of misc. items. The front closet was packed with shoes, boots, and clothing.

I had a dually truck and we were under the capacity but not by much.

No way in my world I'm #900 shy on camp ready ( not even my wife's world ) LOL!! already have that stuff. Maybe the trailer was made this way to accommodate washer and dryer which I have hook ups for, but do not have, and that is in the very front ?

Neither Myself or my wife are " pack rats" we try to keep it simple, and I was always cautious about weight.

Weight does not really impact fuel mileage so unless you are marginal on truck capacity there is not really a reason to not carry full water, which would most likely give you a better pin wt percentage and help with chucking. Also nice to have water, been to places that had water issues and none was available.
