What year? 2x or 4x? What cab? Long box or short box?

Put all that info with your question and the word "specs" in a search bar and you will get an exact answer from the manufacture.

What year is important because the Cummins engine used to weigh 1,300lbs. Then in 2019 Cummins changed the engine material to 'Graphite Infused Iron' which is lighter and stronger. Not 100% sure but the hood and/or the tailgate might be aluminum too in 2019.

This is just a guess but the 2019 short bed crew cab Ram 3500 diesel would weigh 7,800 to 8,000lbs.

Why are you asking?
You need to be more specific, the chart is not accurate.

They say a 3500 is close to a 2500. Never sure who, they, are.
That said. My 2015 2500 2 door 4wd with the cummins, me, full fuel, full def, stuff I normaly carry, comes in at right on the money, 7,500lbs, so that leaves me 2,500 payload. The front end is 1,900 more than the rear is. The 4 door, even a short bed will be more lbs than a single cab.
Get a vin# and put it in at a ram sight, and it will give right from the factory payload and towing.

Thanx guys

Looks like I would be safe in estimating 8,000 lbs

That would give me some wiggle room for a long or short bed and load

Does that sound like a start?

Well keep in mind max GVWR LB is 12,300# max GVWR is 11,700#.

What are you looking at towing with it? Do you plan on towing it?

My '19 RAM 3500 Diesel SB 4x4 with the HO/Aisin is the Laramie trim (mid range) and from the factory weighed 8,050 lbs., giving me a payload of 3,750 lbs. CAT scale payload with 5th wheel hitch (Reese), me, and all my crap is just under 3,400 lbs. Should be no real difference in weight between the years, as nothing changed.

The short bed GVWR is 11,800 lbs.

My 2021 Bighorn crew cab, Cummins, short box,4x4 2500 came in at 8420 with 2 of us in the truck, and the under seat storage nooks pretty well stocked, and equalizer hitch attached.

I am planning to pull a 5th wheel.

Likely a Grand Design

But still looking

Jleonard The load adds up pretty fast. I might need to go to 8500 lbs for the 3500 SWD

Well if you are looking at Solitudes, you should be looking at payload less what you will be adding to the TV. Most Solitudes have a GVWR of 16,800#, which equals a pin weight of about 3,700# an awful lot of pin for a SRW.
