I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana and currently have a 21rbh Trail Lite trailer. I was looking some trailers with 3500 to 4200 lb range dry. The normal place that I go camping is around 5km from my house in the woods. Can I tow something like this on a short distance? I currently have a tran. cooler and no problem towing what I have. Some advice please!

no no you have it wrong, its not what can you tow with the pontiac,
its what TOWS it.....
sorry
The 2005 and 2006 with V-6 are only rated to tow 3500 lbs with restrictions....
Hasving a hard time finding info on a 2002, but i would assume its same.

Robert, I can't get your link to work. That little car needs a tent trailer to pull.

Robert, I don't know how much faith I'd put in the article you linked to. On page 6 of 15, the top of the page shows a 5er like mine connected to a SRW truck. That trailer has a pin weight of way over what a SRW will carry within limits.

ken
it is a dot site,
its not perfect, but i just couldnt re-type all the stuff
I should have named it towing for new folks maybe, guide only.
I was surprised the 3500 lb for a montana, thats scary, i see em with 6 people in em in traffic and that doesnt leave much wiggle room..
