Black Water Tank Question

Tried searching this four different ways and couldn't find the answer.

Out BWT is only 7 gallons while the grey and the fresh water tanks are both 30 gallons. The next model up came with all three tanks at 30 gallons.

Is it possible to replace the 7 gallon with the 30?

Holy Cow! 7 Gallons... Not much room at all.

I would have to guess that yes, you'd be able to upgrade it. Maybe even negotiate the cost with the manufacturer. They may not help; but then again if you never ask you'll never know.

Take a look under there and see how much room you have. If there is nothing in the way, you should be good.

You have the smallest hybrid model

All other floorplans have 30 gallon Black Tank

RV MFG would have installed one larger then 7 gallons IF there was room for a larger one.
25 gal...fresh
30 gal...grey

Sounds like you might want to invest in a portable tote and use it to increase black capacity

Shower/toilet combo...WET Bath
Toilet dumps into black tank
Shower drains to grey tank

I know this doesn’t help but this is a good lesson for everyone to be sure that the trailer they choose meets their needs. Ask the dealer if the change can be made or call the company yourself.

It's no problem. Our trailer is just fine for us, this was just a curiosity question.

We bought the trailer private party and was not aware of the black tank size until I was able to locate the manual online.

I was able to get a better look at the travel yesterday. The black tank is built in to the bathroom above the floor. There appears to be room to expand on.
