Fall Through

Last week I had an incident in my R-Vision trailer. I had dropped the front bed down, and loaded in wife and dog while our house was being fumigated. We were all watching television when I decided to sit on the bed. I heard a crack, and I my 6' 265 lb body was sitting about six inches lower. As it turns out, the wood on the extensible platform had rotted.

In dismantling the bed, the front surface (while driving) had weather logged and let the whole unit get wet. Now the hard part for me: selecting a materiel to replace the front panel. Instead of advertising R-Vision, I think I will make or buy a five foot Navy A-6E Intruder silhouette.

Wow, thanks for sharing your unfortunate experience. We have an 04 R-Vision 21' we just bought, I will have to check our over a little closer now.

There is a material called "glass-board" that is available in thin 4x8 panels that may work to do your repair if you decide to fix it.
