Smile Flagstaff Shamrock 231KSS

Hello Everyone! My wife and I are on the verge of buying a 2020 Flagstaff Shamrock 231KSS hybrid camper. Any comments or suggestions on the camper would be greatly appreciated! Thank-you in advance.

LOVE our 23IKSS. Just got it last June. Has LOTS of storage space. LOVE the heated mattresses. Has enough prep space. Really like the small book shelf in the back bedroom. It works well if you don't want to put the two beds out, (rain, snow) I sleep on the table that turns into a bed, and hubby slept on the couch. Lots of times we did not even unhook if the weather was bad. We could just cook our dinner, sleep and then get up in the morning, cook breakfast, and take off. We have two big dogs so there was room for them on the floor. One con, if you are short, it is hard to get the beds up and down. My husband can lower them, and we push them up to close, but at one point I have to have a small ladder to help him finish pushing them up and tuck stuff in.
For us it has been wonderful. Any questions, just ask. I think you will love it!

One thing I forgot to ask; do you have any water leakage from the vinyl over the beds when it rains? I was glad when they got rid of the canvas which leaked at times in our old pop-up. Thank-you in advance for your reply.

None! We have PUGS over our beds.. something I would suggest. PUGS are Pop Up Gizmos. They help with keeping the bed area, hence the trailer, cooler, or warmer and less condensation. Yes, you will get some condensation, that is the down side of having the bed ends. PUGS are well worth the money! Look into it. try your trailer first without, to see if the heat really bothers you..Ask others what they think of PUGS, I think there is a thread here somewhere about them. We used a long piece of heavy duty velcro at the top of the bed. We haven't had to take them off, so far. Taking our trailer in tomorrow for the first year check up.. will let you know if any problems pop up!
