Hi New to RVing

Hi We are totally new to Rving. We are looking to buy a small lightweight trailer and tow with an SUV. We are looking at a 2019 Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite Super Lite 199RK maybe with the Capri package. Does anyone have any opinions or advise. Thanks,

Make sure your tow vehicle is rated to tow the trailer. The weights should be listed on the door jam of the driver's door. Don't believe the word of the salesman, they're trying to make a sale, not necessarily to keep you and your family safe.

The Gulf Stream is on the lower end of the quality spectrum. In my opinion only: The positives are for a 21' non-slide floorplan you do get couch, small but you do get another place to sit. Because of only a 2 burner stove and a single sink you do get "some" counter space. The overhead cabinet are more than the average you would get in this price range.

The Negatives: I have never been a fan of only a singe axle for a RV trailer over 20'. The fresh water tank is only 30 gallons. Many brands are in the 40-50 range. The hot water tank is only gas (gas / electric is a option).

We just purchased a 2019 GS Ameri lite
22.7 ft. Has double axles, weights 3685 lbs carry weight 3715. Tongue weight apps 400 lbs, more after loafing loading it.
Towing w a 2010 F150 5.4 SuperCrew with the HD tow package.
Full size bed, sofa, dining ring booth, double sink, and bath..
Model 218MB...
So far everything works
