Levelers

I am sure this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it....So any opinions on what to use to level the camper. Picked up our TT yesterday and during the PDI the gentleman also gave us a sales presentation on all the things we would want....Anyways I mentioned those lego looking levelers he suggested one that is arched that you back up one tire onto he said would wouldn't work so since I have until next spring before I can use it I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks

Good Morning!

Take a look at this recent thread, even though it mentions Class-A's it applies to most RV's.

Just get the 10-pak of Lynx Levelers Wally-World $31 Comes with a storage bag. We have used our set for 10 years now and and about 550 nights of camping. Have never needed anything more than the 10-pak to get level.

We have tandem axles and you can set them up in a stepped pattern and get 3 layers or 3" of height on the low side.

+'s light weight, lock together in a stepped pattern, easy to clean, nice storage bag with zipper.

I have also used them under my corner stabilizers to support the stabilizers legs from digging into the ground.

Lynx Levelers is what we always used also. Simple to set up and store, light weight and multiple uses.

Hint - if you have two axles, you can put under one wheel on a side to get slightly less lift when leveling. I like a level trailer, so I found it very helpful

I have a set of Linx Levelers and hate them I have found a product from Anderson manufactuing that works really well. Here is the link.

I still carry the Linx just in case, and long 2x8's to supplement.

Good idea a little pricey at $39 each.

When you consider that most people carry two sets of the Linx Levelers it is about the same price.

I have only a 10-pak since 2005 and about 550 nights of camping over that period without needing anything more. But I will say, I know 95% of the time upfront that I have a fairly level campsite to start with. Either I have been to that park before and have kept notes on the semi-level sites. Or, get info of how level a certain campsite is at parks I have never been to before.
