Ok, this might be a stupid question, but did your TT come with an owners manual? I have one for the microwave, the faucet, the stove, the refrigerator, the T.V. , the fan, the toilet, and every other thing, but not the whole trailer as a unit? Is this strange? do they come with a manual? They went over everything with us, showed us how it worked, but... there was so much I forgot? Do you fill your fresh water tank full before the first trip? do you put water in your black water tank before you go? Shouldn't they all come with a manual? I thought they would.

Trailer manuals are VERY generic that cover several models and provide very little real information.
Having the manuals for the various appliances out you ahead of the curve.


Fresh water tank......
Sanitize it just to clean it of any debris for installation
1/4 cup household bleach per 15 gallons
Fill it with appropriate solution based on your tank capacity.
Bypass your water heater then turn pump on and run bleach solution thru cold/hot lines at each faucet/shower/toielt and low point drains.
Leave overnight then drain flush system


Traveling with fresh water...
YOU BET!
Great to have water for roadside stops while traveling, have water when you get to destination (what to do it CG water is smelly or broke and no water)
Fill it....use it........repeat


Waste tanks.....
Best to have a few gallons in tanks.
Keeps tank bottom wet so stuff doesn't stick, water sloshes around and keeps stuff agitated ----stuff doesn't smell as bad when wet.
Grey tanks also.

Don't overthink, make it complicated......very similar to your house just on wheels
