Reefer question

New to both RVing as well as the Forums. Please be patient

Took possession of a 2018 Keystone Hideout. Been going through all the systems, and have a question concerning the reefer. I used the manufacturer's Owner's Manual and managed to get the reefer to work in "gas" mode. However, using the directions "point-by-point" it doesn't seem to work in electric mode. There is an image of a plug on the control panel, but it does not light up to let me know the reefer is in electric mode.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, and many thanks!

The OP states there is an image of a plug on the display. My thinking is its a 120 volt plug.
12 volts would be a image of a battery, maybe.

Open the outside vent covers and look. It may not be plugged in at the back of the unit. Remember too it's not the same as a home fridge. You won't hear a compressor running.
