Rove lite
Seriously considering purchasing a travel lite rove lite 14FD. Any information would be appreciated

Yes, please, if I may jump in on this discussion. What kind of brake controller are you using and what type of sway control setup do you have?
I’m a tent camper looking to take a step up, FWTW.

I am using the Tekonsha controller and I also installed (now it is factory installed) Tuscon sway control

Knightab, thank you. The Rove Lite 14FL is the model Travel Lite that I have landed on. I saw an ad with a dealer for a 2023 model of this TT and the Tucson Sway Control was listed, but it appeared as an add-on. I am not in a rush so I am waiting to see if I can find a used one on the market. Yeah, I know it’s a long shot, but given the direction of the economy I think there may be all kinds of opportunities coming up. Thanks again.

There is a page on facebook for the rove lite. A lady does have a 22 for sale but she is in Canada

Curt Echo brake controller, very popular. Can’t use sway bars because of aluminum frame and not needed with small camper
|

Knightab, I checked out the FB page and joined. I’m in TN, so yeah Canada would be a bit of a haul. But, I certainly appreciate the pointers. I am open to anywhere in the SE or MW to travel for the right opportunity. My first trip next year is not planned until late May thru early June. So, if nothing comes up before then I will not rule out acquiring a new one. We’ll see. Thanks

The 2023 Rove Lite models are outfitted with the Tuson Sway Controller. This unit mounts under the frame near the front and applies brake pressure as needed to either wheel to mitigate sway. It works very well.

Does the hot water only work when the 10 gallon fresh water tank is full? Water heater doesn’t work when hooked to city water. It only works when I’m using my 10 gallon freshwater tank with the pump. I would think that the water heater would work on the city flow as well but it doesn’t and I’m super frustrated.

Do you have water at both the cold and the hot faucets or none when on city water

If your pump is turned off and hooked to city water and dont have ANY water to cold or hot tap, the hose is kinked where it comes into the trailer, pull the cushion and board off the seat, just a couple of screws, people have had both the tank fill and the city connections crimped because the tank is so close to the wall where the connections come in. Let me know what you find

I have water it’s just not hot when using only city. It gets hot water with the pump on. Maybe a bypass valve?
