2012 Keystone Fuzion caught fire

Anyone have trouble with their Keystone Fuzion catching fire? Anyone know what legal rights we may have to demand a new trailer? The heater box caught fire...thankfully the fire department made it out before the rig was burned to the ground but much damage to wiring, furnace and water tubes. Anyone ever hear of this? We have had nothing but trouble since we purchased this trailer. It has been in and out of the shop for two years fixing different things on it. This is the final straw. This was a brand new trailer when we purchased it.

The heater box? I assume you mean furnace.
What model was it? Cause that's not Keyston's problem they put in a furnace that the furnace manufacturer had problems with. I mean, yea it kinda is, but not as much as Suburbans's or Atwoods.
If it was in use and something was in the way getting burnt, may or may not be their fault.

What other issues did you have? No judgement, but it could've been Keystone (which is highly possible) or could've been the end users mistakes.

That sounds like a heater they are talking about, I have seen them flar up from wasp nest in the burn chamber, loose gas line letting just enough out to fill the area but not leaking enough to trip or shut off the flow at the regulator then a spark and poofff.

Sorry about that ... good thing is that no one was injured. We have a 2012 Fuzion 322 that we call Freddie Fuzion because it has been our nightmare. Warranty issues number 35...and still counting. Our only recourse to to warn everyone we can to NOT buy Keystone. It's a shame that they get away with putting out such poor quality and workmanship as we all spend our hard earned money (and a lot of it) for our rv's. Good luck!!

I love how someone asks a question and then never comes back to update about it.

very curious about this!! How scary. Hopefully no one was hurt. A lot of negative feedback about Fuzions here! Have not had many issues with mine..

We have just the opposite story we are on our 3rd keystone and with the exception of the 2nd dealer we bought from have had no problems. I now have a 2014 Faxon FZ 390 and love it

Good luck. Give us an update a few months down the road. We are 20 months into ownership and the saga of breakdowns & failures & leaks continue. We have resolved that our only way out of this nightmare is to dump it.

I call them "one post wonders."

This one joined in April, made one post /rant back then, and never has been heard from again.
