Do Manufacturer sell new "shell" versions?

I want to build my trailer off of the bare bones version the way that I want to. I know I could buy a used one and gut it so to speak but I was just curious if they even sell you the unfinished version.

Thanks

Probably will find that most manufacturers would not be willing to do that. I believe Livin Lite might do a customizable more bare bones trailer IIRC, they build a all aluminum trailer and are somewhat pricey. Also I'm looking at Dune Sport TH built in Mesa AZ. for a possible build, they will build you a custom TH but sounds like some people have had quality and support issues with them. But if your just getting a shell you might be able to avoid some of the issues they have had.

Try the factory direct brands. it's just between you and the manufacturer. That way they can deliver something to you with no brand name.

I guess to me a "shell" is pretty similar to the idea of an "open floor plan" TH, and there are a number of those.

If your goal is to buy the basics and put in your own interior, there are also some other options:
- A pretty large number of custom trailer builders are out there all over the country
- A trailer built for horses is actually not all that different than an open floor plan TH. Many horse trailer builders also offer options that look a lot like a normal toy hauler.

What about starting with an enclosed car trailer?
