Get a better built Voltage toy hauler. Mine has (3) 7,000 lb axles. It weighs 16,500 not quite empty (scaled) and has a GVWR of 19,000. Put my RZR in the back and I've still got payload left.

When I said upgrade I meant I installed 8,000# axles, springs disc brakes and shocks. problem solved. Unless you want to go with a new trailer with triples. Mine drives and stops great $4,000.00 later.

So I'm looking at a 2019 GD 320G toyhauler. The numbers online, from GD website are
DRY 12400
GVWR 16800
CCC 4400
HITCH WGT 2475
can I carry a 2000 lb Sxs and still, have acc left for fuel station, water, LP, clothes, food and supplies?

The numbers don't reflect any options if you are planning on any such as the 30 gallon fuel station or bunk bed sofas in the rear. or possibly adding 3rd A/C later.

Dual axle Cyclone owners beware!

2 quads will still be a substantial weight hanging over the ass end of the RV. Our scaling on a Cyclone 3611 has shown that a 1350lbs RZR in the garage takes 900lbs off the tongue and puts a total of 2250lbs on the axles, not just the weight of RZR.

On the other hand, I have 21000# of axle capacity and my GVWR is only 18,500#. Go figure.

yes, if you don't mind running at max gvwr or slightly above. i would not do that so that would not work for myself. i actually contacted grand design and told them they need more cargo capacity for hauling sxs's or sand rails. they told me that most people don't know the weight of there toys and that there product might not be a good fit for myself lol. that 2000 lb sxs is prob more like 2500 lbs if you figure in tools and a few spare parts or a spare tire. so no fuel or water and it works. you can't add any options over the factory 12400 lbs either. a happy jack bed system in the rear adds 750 lbs with 2 couch's and a bed. check out genesis supreme and eclipse toyhaulers. there built stronger and they option in heavier axles to get the ccc up.

Every Momentum 351 I have seen (an I’ve seen several) have well under 2k of total CCC.

The Fuzion 357 is same.

When you only have 14k in axles the math catches up quick.
. I have 311 impact 36 ft keystone . Is 11300 and 16500 gvw with two 7 k axels 14 ply tires . I have been over the 2500 lbs garage sticker with 18 Harley fltru and 800 z force coming off the scales 12500 with two 7k axels.

Newmar X-Aire has alot of cargo cap too. That or the rally sport which is travel supreme. only toy haulers id own.

On a side note so many put the axles close to mid ship to lighten pin load. If they would move the axles rear ward and added pin they would have the capcity easier. But then again SRW trucks would be null and void need a DRW to handle it.

My rig is a pig on the pin 6200 with the tanks loaded.

Fuel-water-Propane-gas adds up to 1236#Most SXS weigh in under 1600--My Maverick trail is 1200 so thats 2436--i would say with 2000 to go you should be in the ball park of your 4400 CCC
PS-- we never fill water and fuel completely till we are close to our destination !!!!

I’ve got a Heartland Fuel 352 5th wheel with a 13’ garage and my empty weight is 13,000 with a gvwr of 17,000 so I can haul 4,000 pounds. It has dual 7,000# axles and is 39’ long.

You can haul 4000 pounds as long as plenty of that weight is up front. I have also pulled the 352. I doubt your trailer is under 13k “empty”. It may be advertised UVW but by the time the dealer delivered it to you it was likely 13.5 or more. I don’t believe they weigh them at the factory with TVs or furniture as I have weighed a few right off the lot and they ALL weighed more than the stickered UVW.

The problem with 2 axle toy haulers is it can be extremely easy to put over 7000 pounds on the rear axle if you load most of your cargo weight in the garage.

I have pulled an unusually high number of fivers. I have seen numerous two axle toy haulers overloaded just like this. IMO 2 axles work if you haul a single bike or a small golf cart. Any more and you will push the limits of the axles and quite often it also manifests in spring or hanger failures.

My rule of thumb is if you plan on hitting the GVWR with a toy hauler, have as much axle capacity as the total GVWR.
