Fifth wheel hitches

Looking at new hitches. They look the same. Curt, Reese , B and W. Any differences. Does this air ride thingy make a difference? Cheers

Air ride will make a HUGE difference, the main difference I found was how they lock onto the kingpin. Reese uses a straight bar, curt uses 2 jaws. If you already have a b&w GN I’d get a air ride goose neck tongue.

Our trailer is a 07 Rag’n 36’ toy hauler, and very tongue-heavy.I used a “ranch hand” adapter on my old truck because I already had a GN hitch and HATED it. It would buck and chuck so bad I thought the hitch would snap. My new 12 ram dually was a fresh start so I got a curt Q24, mainly because has a rubber damper built into the head, as well as the dual jaw lock. The trailer rows a lot better then before with the adapter. We’re planning to get a air ride kingpin soon

What year/make is your truck and trailer?
