Full timing

Is there a toy hauler fifth wheel that is actually built for full timing? Most either have no comfortable seating or no dining area, other that the garage. I am looking for one that has a seperated garage, and living area like a regular fifth wheel, sofa, recliners, dining area, etc...Any leads appreciated, I can afford to build a custom unit...

Depends on how much space you need.

I had the same problem when we went looking a couple of years ago. The Grand Design 376 was the closest thing I could find, but it has a small garage.

Of course any of the large custom makers can do whatever you want. It does come with a price though.

Another possible option is to get a residential RV that you like and move to a HDT (heavy duty truck) and put the toy(s) on the truck. I am in the process of doing this right now.

Those are some interesting choices, the ones with the bed in the garage are definitely out, I don't want to sleep where I have a vehicle with gas and oil fumes coming out of it. The others are do able, except they are brand new and way out of my budget. i have did all kinds of searches and most aren't what my idea of a full timer toy hauler should be...We are retired government employess and are on a pretty tight budget, so we can travel. I would just triple tow, but there are a lot of states especially on the east coast that don't allow it.

Our Road Warrior 427 serves us well. One thing we don't have that you list is a dining area. We decided on a side patio in lieu of dining area since just the 2 of us.
