Grand Design 399th side patio issue.

Does anyone have a 399th that leaks water by the sliding glass doors? I was told by Grand design that the ramp must be up if it rains, that sounded ridiculous to me. My doors never leaked until the dealership replaced them for a frame issue that had nothing to do with leaks. Ever since they replaced the doors they leak. I mentioned that they didn't leak originally even when it rained with the patio ramp down. It seems to be their easy fix for a water leak. I was just wondering if anyone else has been told to keep their ramps up if it rains and has anyone had any leaks coming from the sliding doors. Thanks.

Typical "we don't want to fix it" response ! time to speak firmly and ask to speak to the general manager...

No matter WHEN it started leaking, it's still under warranty - good luck !

That suggested fix actually came straight from the service manager at the Grand Design plant. My dealer called the manufacturer to let them know about the leak and get suggestions and that was the manufacturers fix. The worst part is the doors didn't even leak until they were changed but Grand Design says now the ramp must be up when it rains even though it didn't need to be up before. I'm trading this thing in on a Newmar!
