Where are you staying in Hot Springs? We stayed four nights there last week at Catherine's Landing and really enjoyed it. Plan on going back as we didn't really get to explore the whole area. Head up to Sevierville/Gatlinburg area today and staying at Anchor Down RV resort.

We were at Lake Hamilton campground. Not bad, swimming pool fishing, boat dock et al. It was our first experience so nothing really to compare it to. People were very nice.

If you get a chance visit Anchor Down in Dandridge, TN. It's near the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and Iocated on Douglas Lake. It's absolutely beautiful here with incredible views. We like it here so much we just booked ten days for next summer. There's not really any trees but a great pool with a slide, nice wide sites, and beautiful views. They rent nice golf carts also which are great because this place is pretty big.
