OK...since Clark's been voted the THE (Toy Hauler Electrician), we must test him:
Clark: 1. How many amps is 5500 watts?
2. How many electricians does it take to change a light bulb?
OK gang...let's see how he does!

Well Sean ol'e boy, it depends on a number of factors:
1. Did you want 120V or 240V???
5000W/ 120V= 41.666666 A
5000W/ 240V= 20.833333 A
or:
1 Amp in Sean's new WW= 5000W of Rock & Roll
2. Who does he work for???
Cal Trans/ 24. 1 to change the bulb and 23 to stand around and watch, which is the same as going on a camp out with this group, 1 to change and the rest of you sitting around drinking beer. Then there would be Howie, who would be trying out how to modify the existing light bulb, and the rest of us doing the mod to our rigs.
Fire Dept/ 7 (or whatever the size of the station crew) 1 rookie to change the bulb, 1 Captain to direct the job, 3 Firemen to spin the ladder the rookies standing on, and 2 Paramedics to treat any injuries incurred.
Did I pass?????

Hummmmm Clark....let me seeeeeeee....
1. BUUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZ....5500 watts was the wattage, but ya done good on the 5000!!
2. DINGDINGDINGDINGDING....DING! Excellent answers! Especially for a civil servant! I'll even give you extra credit for those!
OK...since you only got half correct, you only get to work on half our crews' rigs- MINE- and Howie's outta luck! If you can answer #1 again correctly, Mike will be the recipient (again...Howie is left to fin for himself, but we all know now he's officially capable)!
And my sound system only takes about 8 amps at full volume, so there'll be plenty for the AC and the lights (just don't turn on that micro!).
Too much fun, AGAIN!
Sean

I was always a slooow learner!!!

Sean,
What color caddie light do you want on the side of the new rig? The light and wiring should be no problem, but I'm sure there is a relay of some sort in the system to take out the flash. Maybe call a Caddie parts dealer, see what relay they use and a cost. After that, it shouldn't be that hard to the job.
Clark
