OK guy's and Gal's
Here it is, what do you think about going to Moab in the spring of 2006? I'm thinking of a meeting of all of us at Moab in April or March at one of the campgrounds in Moab. Don't know when the Jeep Jamboree is but we need to miss it. What do you say, can we go for it? Can we make a schedule and get all of us together at that time. What do you think?
I'm gonna throw this out there for all of you to think about for a while.
I think I can do it!

Tom,
You know, I'm a little embarrassed to say I've never been to Moab. One of the places I've always wanted to visit, but never have.
What better way to visit a new place then this?

Looks like its time for Capt. Tommy to toss a couple ideas and locations on the tabletop.
What kind of (unlimited?) boondocking they have there?
This could be one big fun time.
and '56, i just saw that picture you added to your post. That is nice!

Well, I'm thinking of going to a campground where we have hookups. If that doesn't float your boat, let me know. I just e mailed Moab Chamber and asked them for info. Boy, I know one thing, this new keyboard is killing me, Gotta change this thing!

Here's a list of private campgrounds w/hookups.
I can't see any info on OHV access from any of them.

We stayed at one of the regular campsites and most of the campers
gave us the cold shoulder and evil eye. Moab is a major mountain bike
(I mean the peddle kind) and they don't like ATVs and Dirt bikes from
what we could figure out.
We had a much better time camping on BLM land in the boonies
We'll need to find a place big enough for a lots of rigs and where we
can ride out of the campsite.
Maybe one of the local off roaders or someone really familiar with
Moab could help us find a spot.
I couldn't resist....... Top and bottom of the ride to the Green River.
I think it was just a little north of Moab.

I just might have to figure out who can haul my quad for me. I can tell right now that this is going to be the event of 2006, Tom make sure you find a big location.
We were in Moab back in 1998, a VERY beautiful place. Can't wait to do it again!!!

Howie:
You may be right...Moab is either known for Mtn bikes, or Jeeps, and I bet those two groups don't talk to each other...
Clark: I'll haul it for ya! I think we'll have room...
