Sandy:
I know Howie's been in the Flagstaff area for quite some time here...is he ever gonna come home to iRV2? There's a whole bunch of people who need some mod advice, and I'm afraid they won't hold on forever! I'm not sure that I'm not envious of his full retirement status, but that's besides the point...
We need an update to 1) make sure he's OK, and 2) see the pics of the trip, and 3) let us view the mods he's done on the trip!
Talk about waiting on pins and needles...

King Salami was just asking the same question this morning. As far as I know they left Flagstaff on Tuesday and headed to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I'm sure there's no cell phone reception there so we won't hear anything until he pulls out onto the road again. Since they have no agenda, I'm figuring he'll roll back in to town somewhere around the 11th or 12th. I'll certainly post an update when I hear from him.

Man, it sure must be nice to not have to worry about working. One day I'm gonna get to try it if I live long enough. Course, if our goverment gets their way, we'll work until we die. Thats their answer for fixing the SS system. BUT, that another subject and another day. We need the Mod man here.

Heard from the wandering Nomad this morning. He and Lady Di have been hunkered down on the North Rim area of Grand Canyon the past few days. They're checking out the riding areas. Weather has been perfect. He remarked more than once about how cozy their Weekend Warrior is. Even though the nights get pretty chilly, the bedroom was comfortable without the heat on.
No mention of when he was returning -- lucky dog!

Sandy:
Do you think we'll ever get him back?!
And those cozy nights are some 'o the best- it'll be a while before we see those around here again!
Glad to hear he's honky dorie...did you tell him we're all missing (and envying) him?
