Rage'n FB2500 questions

Hi, I am considering purchasing a 2005 Rage'N FB2500 to use to tow my race car. Supposedly, the cargo area of this thing is rated for 5000lbs+ and my car is 2450lbs wet. As far as I can tell from the dimensions the car should fit... does anyone have any experience with hauling race cars in these and or experience with the trailer in general? The price and location are within my budget...

Also, if you know of any for sale: my budget is sub $15K, it needs to hold a 14.5ft long race car, have 2 beds, a bathroom, and HVAC. I am really open to any suggestions and would like to buy something ASAP. I'm in Atlanta, GA so something within 500 miles or so would be nice.

I'd look very hard at the axles. If those are normal 6-lug axles, you would only have a 10,000 GVWR on that trailer. Expect the trailer itself to weigh 7k or so with water. There might be some of them on 6k axles (12k total), which would be a different story.

I can't comment on the quality of them. How do you get out of your race car? If it's a normal door setup on the car, watch the furniture in the trailer. It will often fold up along the wall where you need the door to open, and make things very snug.

might want to verify the weight rating on the ramp door also. i have seen 3k lbs to 2k lbs depending on manufacturer. you do not want to max the weight rating on the door as it will fold up or bend and not seal.
