Anyway. I can't believe how many are using semi's for tow vehicles. We thought about that since Hubby drives a semi still that he owns. But opted for a Ram 3500.
We have a 2007 Holiday Rambler 5th wheel toyhauler and carry a Smart car for transportation instead of a scooter motorcycle or golf cart. We looked at all of these options but we're too old and don't recover so quickly so stayed clear of the scooters etc. Golf carts can't get on a lot of roads. So we got a smart car instead

THis is what I told my wife we need to do. Toy hauler, smart car or Chevy voltage. Something like that. Then we don't need to drive the big truck around all the time. She thought I was crazy.

As far as the semi to pull the 5er thats what I want to do after the kids grow up and get out lol. We need the space for bodys in the tow vehicle.

I did post earlier in this thread before the hydraulic loader deck for the Smart Car was done so I thought I'd post a picture from last weekend of the completed setup

Do you have any photos of loading the Smart Car? I wasn't aware that they are that short, in order to turn them crossways.

Steve,
Thanks for posting the link to my truck. Gregg@RVhauler.ca was the company that built the hydraulic loader on my truck. that the Smart Cars are loaded on the decks.

Thank you Steve. That is a beautiful truck. Looks like Rick didn't spare any cost, except the the used brake controller.

Scotty,

That is one used item that will follow me around until it dies!!! IMO it is the best brake controller for an air brake vehicle or the best one I have tried. It is to bad they are no longer in business.
