Rubber came off!!!

Hope you laughed at the header...

It's true tho. The rubber that covers the screw heads near the top of Mr carbon 33 are hanging off. I tucked the pieces back in (2-3in) before my last move, but when I got here, there is 15 feet hanging. I was told it is just for appearance, but want to hear that from people I trust. So... Do I need to replace it or just pull it off and be done with it.

Pull it off and replace it.

I would replace it or put it back with some silicone or other product to glue it down.

I would not leave the screw heads exposed to the elements.

The stuff is cheap. Take a sample to and decent sized RV parts store and buy the amount you need. Its really easy to instal, so takes no time to do.

Strategic placement of glue while reinstalling the rubber will keep it there forever.

BTW it goes back in much easier when warm.
