TH Recommendation

Wife and I are looking for our first toy hauler. We have a fifth wheel now, older model that is mostly an ugly fishing camp. Want to switch to a bumper pull toy hauler. Got it down to a few models and having trouble from there. We know all cheaper trailers have problems, but which will have the fewest and last the longest is the answer we are looking for.

We tow with a Ram 3/4 with 6.7 Cummins, weight should not be a problem.

Here are the ones we are looking at

Puma 25TFC
Jayco 272 and 273
Starcraft 29HR
Rubicon 2800

Thanks for the help

Thanks for the replies. I do like the jaycos and the work and play. Wife does not like the work and play and we do not have a good dealer for those nearby.

I have a good dealer for the jayco and the rubicon. The deal on the Rubicon 2800 is really good as it is a holdover from last year, plus that is the wife's favorite.

Anyone with insights into rubicon?

That's your answer right there. Happy wife, happy life. You can deal with the rest. The rubicon is no better or worse IMO than any of the others.

Find one with the garage size you need And start looking at the floodplain you like and ones that are in budget. I had a puma unleashed 298 for several years. Only had a few things that needed fixed and all was in the warranty period. Was a great camper.

Why not a small 5th toyhauler? Better storage, better towing.
Just a thought.
