I can't remember who recommended tying the brake wires up but it was
a great idea.
While I was under the LE, I noticed that center axle (driver side) had
crunched the bottom of the frame rail. It most likely happened in the
boonies of Arizona. This is a strong argument for flipping the axles.
Bigger tires or adding the 2x4 frame rail would not help this problem.
This was not done at high speed, but probably going over a berm and the
center axle happened to take the force vector for that impact.
Had I not tied up the brake wire, it was dead center to be smashed. Yikes.

Well Gee,I thought the same thing but guess what, My brake lines looked the same way and I left them alone and almost 4 yrs later they are still working. Not saying that its the same way that yours are but kind of looks that way.
WW does not do things that we think they should do but they seem to work anyway. I still use mine in the "stock" version. That includes the water tanks and all that, no problems after almost 4 yrs. Whatever works for you, EH!

Howie...rubber mounts mounted on the frame above the axles...

Offroad...I thought Jeeps and Quads and things like that were meant for offroad, NOT the WW!
I guess thats why I don't have some of these worries, at least not yet. The most offroad mine has been is a few hundred feet of gravel, and very slow at that. Of course, some of our "roads" should be reclassified, IMHO.

Thats what looked funny about your rig compaired to ours.. you don't have your axles flipped...
DUDE... Flip those babies... That way when you drive through Oklahoma, on I40, In the Spring.. you can feel the wind,, I mean all the wind... Oh,, Hi ya Tom.

wow those ww sure dont have any travel,
or shocks ,
man that would not work for me,
and those shackle plates are so thin,
man you should get those 3/4" plate kits with bronz bushings in all your pivits,
it really makes the thing stable ,and they move so much better
im supprized you dont drag the rear of the unit on the ground more !!
oh well , it just gives you more cool stuff to do !!

and oh , are those still carlise tires you have on that thing ???
please get rid of those now !!!
at least get 7 maxxas 8008 tires ,
those carlise tires will come appart shortly !!

Hey kelstr,,
I still have my Carlise tires... 8k miles and lots of desert travel and lots of OTR. Never a issue. Just keep the lugs tight and Airpressures proper..
Working great..

i love you man , and i just don't want to see you hurt the wheel well and tear up your trailer side ,
and not to mention the hassle of it all,
so if i were you , i would be looking into the xps rib, and or the maxxis 8008's
i can't tell ya how many rigs i see that get trashed with the marathons or the carlise junk on them.
