Toilet runs on

2017 Outlaw.
Our foot pedal does not release fully and the water will run till it overflows. With a bit of manipulation we can het the water to stop running
Does anyone know the cause and hopefully a simple fix?

Might try some silicone grease on seal. Could be the seal hanging up. It helps to indicate the model of toilet.

Do you have any info on the manufacturer and model of the toilet ?

My Sealand 210 , has a return spring in the pedal pivot that broke at an inopportune time , giving the same issue.

A lot of manuals with parts lists are posted at this site: below: , or available at the manufacturers web site as free downloads.

Lets start with Brand/Model of toilet

Ball valve hanging up/not fully closing allowing water supply valve to trickle

Could be seal has crud, lack of lubrication
Ball valve crud...mechanism binding

Brand/Model???
