As stated before I am one also that mine do the same thing. It's to help keep water where it needs to be but mainly to hold the glass in place. Big thing though is a @hamm2018 said, make sure the drains are clear. The little open slits on the bottom side of the frame can get dust, dirt etc. and they won't drain freely. A garden hose with a sprayer and you'll see the dirt rinsing out, keep doing until the water is clear.
