I took delivery of my FS2300 yesterday. PDI went well, all I found while going over it on the lot was a crooked cabinet door. I got one nice surprise, they changed the cabinets up a little next to the refrig. It no longer has a TV shelf above the frig., it has a storage cabinet. They angled the cabinet from the corner of the frig. to the cabinet mounted on the wall and installed a TV/DVD player. This was a nice surprise.

But as the song says, "If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all". I had chosen the Reese Dual CAM HP because I had read on another forum that the type that used U bolts sometimes had mounting problems because tank and/or battery brackets were in the way. The HP model has a C-channel that bolts to the bottom of the tongue frame.
As my luck would have it, Warrior welded the tank bracket to the bottom of the frame so my dealer had to cut the bracket off, build a plate that would sit on the top of the frame, weld the tank bracket to the new plate then paint is all. They did a really good job on it.
As I am standing there in the service bay watching the tech. mount the DualCAM I see two small dents on the face of the trailer. I get a little closer and I can see that the whole face of the trailer has been peppered with hail while they were driving it from CA. We did have severe thunder storms in West Texas the day before it arrived at my dealer. The dents were so small you could not see them in the bright sunlight but in the service bay you could see them very well.
To make a long story a little longer, my salesman has already contacted Warrior and they are going to deliver a new face cap and my dealer here will install it.
Other than that it looks great, everything seems to work and I am taking it on its maiden voyage this weekend. It is our anniversary and the wife and I and another couple are going to my hunting lease, ride ATVs and go out for dinner Saturday night to a new fancy steak house on a ranch close to my lease.
Now the FUN begins!!!

Congrats ... !!! Too cool! Any pics?

Since it sounds like yours got pulled down the road through a storm much like mine did for delivery ... Check the floor around the wheel wells for signs of water. I found on ours that the caulking around the boxes there needed some help as a bit of wheel spun water came through. For me they didn't remove the signs prior to PDI and when I lifted the carpet I got to see it right away.

Ours got pulled through a major snow storm and the front frame rails were sand & gravel blasted to bare metal! Though, the diamond plating just above was in perfect condition.

Good rig both of you guys.

and Bubba, that was a good catch seeing the hail damage, and also getting the TV upgrade.
And wouldn't you know it, that you go for the HP upgrade on the Reese, and WW has already hogged the underneath of the frame. Sounds like your RV guy did a good job fabbing a new tank bracket and that Reese should now have a perfect home there. And you can leave it hooked up to our trailer all the time.

Both of you guys should post more pics. really like to see more of those models.

And Bubba, when did you say you want all of us to arrive there at that surprise steak dinner with you and your wife??. We're all going to need a day or two to iron our jeans and pack some beer.

I will take some pictures this weekend at my hunting lease and post them next week.
I only have three evenings to get it ship shape for the first trip. At least I'm not starting from scratch, all the camping stuff I took out of my old pop-up is sitting in the garage floor waiting to be put in the Warrior.
