Everyone,

I am currently working on purchasing a TT. I camp a LOT without hookups, so I would like to get a 12 volt TV so that I can use it, when we are off the grid. Out of 12-15 trips a year we may have juice 3 times.

So, what are some good sources for a 12 volt TV? Or am I better off with a smaller inverter?

I had the Briggs and Stratton "Extra Noisy" generator, that I used at NASCAR for power. Then I went to an inverter for night use. Eventually, I had to spent the bucks for a 1000 watt Yamaha inverter generator. Powers the TV, Satellite Dish and also charges the battery. $ 759.00 at the track. (Had no choice, my inverter quit). Then I saw someone there with a cheap "Made in China" 1000 watt Honda knockoff that was about as quiet as mine. They said they got it off eBay for $189.00 delivered to their door.
