1994 Holiday Rambler Free Spirit - Potable Water Tank

Hello. I'm new to the camping world. We just purchased this HR last fall and I'm working through all the bugs. I am down to using the water tank and the pump. I'm hoping that somebody can give me some advice.
I have 2 hand valves inside that are low point valves. Are either of these for the potable water tank? They are both closed, but when I put water in the tank, it just pours right back out of the drain hose. I do not know where there would be another valve.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Low point drains......one of cold water system & one for hot water system
They are for draining the plumbing lines when 'winterizing' the RV

when I put water in the tank, it just pours right back out of the drain hose
How are you trying to fill the fresh water tank?
Is it a Gravity fill that you put hose into ??
Sounds Like the Fresh Water VENT is clogged, vent line has sagged (holding water) etc
Air has to escape from tank when water goes in

Please excuse my ignorance of all the terms.

It is gravity fill where I stick a hose in the hole.
Where would the vent be, that you are mentioning may be blocked?

Please correct my assumptions below:
1. Fresh water gets filled from the top of the tank.
2. There is port at the bottom of the tank that connects to the pump. The pump then connects to the cold water line inside.
3. I would assume that there is another port on the bottom of the tank that is for the drain? I'm not sure how else the tank could get emptied when being winterized.
4. If #3 does have a port, where would the valve be to shut it off?

Thank you.

Your assumptions are correct.....

You are there with the RV and will need to investigate
Looking underneath for lines sticking out.....then eyeballing where they are and looking inside

Gravity fill/vent could be small hole next to gravity fill...that is a vent
Need to gain access to that area and check vent line
*maybe blow air back thru it

Is this RV a travel trailer or 5th wheel?
Is underbelly enclosed?
Is fresh water tank under bed, sofa etc?

Ahhh, I did see that hole. I will check it out this evening.
It is a travel trailer.
The underbelly is enclosed.
I was assuming that the tank would be basically right behind where the water port is. If so, then no, it is not under the sofa. If there is a line heading towards the rear of the trailer, then maybe. I will take a closer look this evening.
The only thing sticking out of the bottom of the trailer that I can see is the drain hose. I think there is an access panel below the water port panel, but I think that's the furnace. the shutoff valve for the tank wouldn't be in there, would it?
It is usually a major job to start removing the underbelly enclosure, isn't it?

As already mentioned, look for valve near where the drain line come out.

It may be hard to find. I had one that you had to remove a kitchen drawer, valve was behind it.

Found It!

I appreciate your guys help with this. The tank is under the sofa and the valve is right off the tank in the same area.
Thankfully, the valve works, the tank fills now, and the pump works as well!

Thank you again!
