2009 HR Savoy 32 rbs water system

Greetings,

I have a 2009 Holiday Ramble TT savoy 32 rbs, all water connections are with a hose and changing three different valves to accomplish your needs.

Question 1: When you change the valves to winterize you use a short hose to put in the anti freeze, does this go into the water tank?

Question 2: All my camping is dry camping, I do not have a gravity feed water fill, what is the best way to add more water when I run near empty? Would I use the winterize setting? I am guessing this setting puts water in the water storage tank.

Question 3: Can I use a 12v water pump to pump water directly into the tank like when filling from a hose?

Question 4: Is there an overflow to know when your water tank is completely full and not just depend on the gauge? I need all the water I can get in the tank when dry camping.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Not usually. 12 volt pump pressurizes house water system, not fresh water tank.

Not likely. You can buy all sorts of different potable water pumps. They come in manual, 12 volt, and 120 volt versions. I fill from pressurized campground spigots.

Question 3: Can I use a 12v water pump to pump water directly into the tank like when filling from a hose?

You can use a 12 volt potable water pump to pump from a non-pressurized source.

Question 4: Is there an overflow to know when your water tank is completely full and not just depend on the gauge? I need all the water I can get in the tank when dry camping.

There is almost always an overflow connected to the fresh tank. At least there is a small vent to allow air in and out. Be a little cautious as the level approaches full. A small vent can lead to over-pressure in the tank if overflow can not get out fast enough.

Thank you!

I see from the sticker on which way the valves go for different uses which is very helpful. When winterizing I will likely pump RV antifreeze directly through the 12v water pump and put antifreeze in all the P-traps and into the toilet bowl, I also put a few gallons of treated water in the black water tank.

This is the first RV I have ever seen with the water system like this and I have had several RV's. Also, I have not ever seen a 20' slide on a TT.
