Hello--
Considering this model. One owner and well cared for.

Does anyone here have any experience with this model / brand?

Pros/cons?

We travel with 3-4 adults. Camping style.....70% hook up and 30% non hooks ups.
3-5 days camping and longer when hooked up.

Considering the vintage, it appears to be well constructed according to attached brochure.

It has a EPDM roof which I believe is not as good as TPO.

But other than that I have a 2013 Keystone Vantage 25 RBS with zero problems. My trailer is not insulated very well but I say that about my previous trailers also. I camp in September in part of the country where September nights get down to the low to mid 40's.

The Outback has been a staple in the Keystone line up a long time so they must be building them good.

We plan on camping primarily in the West over the next few years...CA, AZ, NV, NM, ID, OR, WA

In the future, we may visit the South....TX, LA, AL, MS, FL, GA, FL

We prefer warmer climates!

Looking over the construction, and specs sheet, I would be concerned with carrying capacity. The 1570 lbs minus options, batteries, propane, and if you travel with full water, won’t leave much left.

The 15” tires could easily be upgraded, the 30 gallon grey tank is on the small side, but that depends on your planned usage.

It does have fiberglass batten insulation in the roof and front wall, which I am not a fan of, due to vulnerability to moisture, and water vapor.

But overall I would say it’s constructed pretty well, and like you said it’s been well cared for, so that’s a huge bonus on longevity.

I carry much of our camping equipment (BBQ, folding table, extra water, etc. in my truck bed.

I will upgrade to E rated tires.

Trailer carries food, clothing, folding chairs, hoses, landing blocks, pots/pans, personal gadgets, etc. Can't imagine this is more than 300-400#.

I wish the gray was larger, but I guess I can carry a wheeled tote and use as needed. Owner threw one in with the deal (27gal). and said he used it when they stayed more than 3-4 days at sites that did not have hook ups but a dumpsite. He claims he towed the tote it with his truck to dumpsite???

About 70-80%, or more, of our use it a campsites with hook ups. Last year in our previous rig it was 90%.

BTW....Trailer was clean and well cared for....SO....I purchased it!!!

Congrats on your purchase. I agree, a well cared for unit is hard to come by, especially at that age. Hope you and your family have many fond memories. Sounds like from your previous post that you have a close family, and a lot to be thankful for.
