2021 g20bhs
I have been trying to find a GEO Pro G20BHS in our area to see and possibly purchase. I was able to reserve one that someone else had purchased and backed out that's coming in a couple of weeks. My concern I am trying to figure out is my sloped driveway. I have a slope that I am concerned might hit the bottom bracket that is near the rear of the trailer near the jack. I have not been able to see one in person to measure what clearance I will need to make sure I don't bottom out. If anyone can tell me the distance between the ground and the lowest portion that hangs underneath the rear of the trailer and the distance between the middle of the tire to the end of the trailer would be a great help. I can mock up something using my utility trailer to check the clearance but need accurate measurements to make it work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are so excited to find one but want to make sure it will work on our driveway. Thanks

You could always add a lift to the unit.

I don't have a GEO Pro so can't help with the measurements you want. I thought I would share the following link for calculating the "departure angle" which will basically tell you if you have a clearance issue. The calculator requires you plug in the height of the impact point (bumper, bracket or whatever) and the distance from the impact point to where the time contacts the ground. Hope this helps.

If you have a suspension/spring works shop in your area contact them. It’s basically adding material between the frame, and axle to your desired height. Put on a 4” lift on ours.

Thank you! I need 3" to clear one little section of ramp. Suspension work will be cheaper than changing the grade of the ramp.

Had Boise spring works, here in Boise, ID do mine. Cost was 250.00, and they always have camp trailers lined up to do the same. Just be aware that when you raise the unit, it will then allow more air to move underneath. Noticed a slight difference, but more so during high windy conditions. Getting your WDH properly set to the new height, you should have no issues.
