A/C Question on 2201DS Minnie

I have a 2018 Winnabago Minnie with a 1500 A/C. Set thermostat to start the air, it starts fine, but goes off for moment then starts, sometime seems to do this about 6 times before staying on. Sometimes it cools for awhile then will shut off even though it has not reached the temperature set. I have the one unit , trailer is 30 amp. Anyone have this kind of problem. Thanks

Maybe a defective thermostat? Have you cleaned your air filter?

Is the trailer hooked up to a 30a circuit or 15a? if the latter, the juice is not enough to power it especially when i.e. the fridge compressor cycles (on AC power, not gas). I had that issue running my AC with just a portable 2300w generator.

The other thing you were probably running is the 12 converter. That can draw 300-500 watts of power, which is significant if you're running on generator.
